Resource integration
Capital in the bank account, machines in the factory, or expertise in people's minds do not in themselves create value. Value is only created
when they are connected, coordinated, and integrated into a relationship.
Resources are potential that only
creates value through interaction. Whereas in classical logic the customer was merely a consumer of finished goods,
today they are considered an active factor of production: in co-creation, customers and partners become integral resources
of value creation. Companies are thus no longer mere producers, but orchestrators of value,
creating the conditions under which value is generated for the customer (“value-in-use”).
Every economic activity
is ultimately a service: companies provide knowledge, technology, and infrastructure, while customers contribute knowledge,
time, attention, data, commitment, and experience. However, people are not objects or commodities –
they possess freedom, dignity, and interests, and only develop their potential through involvement and interaction.
Organizations create structures, processes, and culture for this purpose; people contribute their skills. In this
cooperative relationship of a reciprocal nature, value is created – not through ownership or exchange, but through the
interaction of all participants.
Harnessing existing potential: Enabling integration – so that resources
come together and have an impact.
